Snowboarding is great
Today was the first time I actually hit the main slopes. Since I've never taken lessons, the few times I went, I kept to the beginners piste.
Not today!
I hit the reds and blues! I only had 2 bigger falls, but the rest of the time was awesome flying down the slopes.
Byron and I finished off the day with heading to the top, 1600 meters, and then 10 minutes flat out, dodging kids and other such things, back down to the car.
Earlier we went all the way down the mountain, but it was a bit icy below where we parked. It then took 30 min to make it back up to the top, with the different lifts, lines and all.
Anyway, I WANT MORE!
It's addicting.
So, here's the map of where we were. I hope when we get back home, I can find someplace close enough to do regularly.

another run
Today we spent the afternoon on a ski slope. Kay has been visiting her grandparents and has gone several times in the last 2 weeks, so she's got some good practice. I took my board along and was able to do several runs without falling.
It was a nice 2 hours on the slope.
Here's a little clip from my junky cam...of kay coming down the slope. She most have gone about 50 times...since she likes to just zoom straight down.
